Jenn Ramirez, MSEd

Jenn Ramirez transitioned to the role of Program Manager for the Public Health Sciences PhD Program in 2023 after working for 12 years in English as a Second Language, Bilingual Education, and Dual Language Education in Chicago and two years on the Leadership Team of the Washington University College Prep Program. Jenn also teaches future teachers in the WashU Department of Education.

Jenn was born and raised in St. Louis and attended kindergarten through 12th grade in the Hazelwood School District. She attended WashU as an Ervin and Tilles Scholar and earned a Bachelor of Arts in International and Area Studies/East Asian Studies. She received a Masters of Science in Elementary Education from Northwestern University and is currently working toward a Doctor of Education in Literacy, Culture, and Language Education from Indiana University-Bloomington. Jenn holds an Illinois Professional Educator License in K-9 Education, PK-12 Bilingual Spanish Education, and PK-12 English as a Second Language Education.
