Further amplifying our ability to make a lasting impact on social and health equity, the Brown School offers current students the opportunity to earn a Master of Social Policy degree (MSP) in conjunction with either a Master of Social Work or Master of Public Health degree. All current MSW and MPH students are welcome to apply for this yearlong program. The MSP program also attracts students enrolled with select global partners who complete the program in addition to their coursework in a range of relevant subject areas at their home university.

The Brown School is a leader in translating social work and public health research to inform policy not only in St. Louis, but also around the world. This degree further strengthens your ability to substantively engage with social issues as well as design, manage, and evaluate social policy. The MSP combines training, knowledge, and skills to prepare you for leadership positions at the regional, national and international policy level.
