Brown School student groups play a large part in our dynamic student life. At the Brown School, student groups are driven by student interest. Find a short list on our external website.

You’ll thrive in our welcoming and inclusive environment, which builds supportive connections among students. Starting with Brown School Orientation and extending through the year, you’ll find a full calendar of social events, including student-run TGIT happy hours and special student dinners at The People’s House.

Other yearly highlights include the student-led Washington University Pow Wow, an annual Cultural Showcase, the student research symposium Research Without Walls, and, of course, Commencement.

Annual events in the community also offer a great opportunity to discover St. Louis with your classmates. Student favorites include the Festival of Nations, LouFest, the Great Forest Park Balloon Race, the St. Louis International Film Festival and PrideFest. For an ongoing list of the best St. Louis happenings, consult the Riverfront Times.

Check out WUGO: Washington University Student Group Organizer for an up-to-date list of groups that can be sorted and filtered to find the right groups for you. Please reach out directly to student groups with specific questions.
