We all play a role in advancing the Brown School’s identity as a school that is dedicated to equity and committed to impact.

Through the many printed and digital communications that come from the Brown School each year—from departments and research centers within the school, as well as from the Dean’s Office and the Office of Communications—we each tell an important facet of the larger Brown School story. Please utilize the University Marketing and Communications Style Manual to shape your written messaging. Feel free to contact the Office of Communications with specific questions.

Brown School Communications

Need assistance with a communications strategy? Email our team and we will be in touch.

The Brown School has adopted a new logo mark in 2017-18 that aligns us more closely with the university and its branding, and reflects how we now identify the school as well as the breadth of our programs. For your convenience, we have developed many tools and templates with proper branding. Please refer to these templates when creating fliers, presentations, posters and more.

Creating your own design? Logos are available in positive (black or color on white) and reversed (black or color with a transparent background for use on dark colored backgrounds). PNG files are available below. Do not increase the size of these logos by more than 20%. Please contact the Office of Communications for vector files (EPS or AI, commonly used by graphic designers and commercial printers with the Adobe Creative Suite).

Print and electronic communications using the Brown School at Washington University logo should be reviewed by a member of the Office of Communications prior to production. Please allow ample time so that any changes can be made.
